NAS solution under $200

So I think its time of my home network to get a nas, Transferring files to the other PCs using the usb stick is just not cutting it anymore, and the ability to set up a home cloud server is great when I need something when I am not at home. I was going to make a NAS with a Netgear Ready Nas and a WD Red drive or the Seagate NAS drive. But I came across the WD My cloud 4TB. And I found the price to be great, its an gigabit Ethernet link like the Netgear ready nas but it costs much cheaper. I heard it even has the WD Red drives inside. 

 

So I was thinking a 4 tb My Cloud costs about $168

 

A Netgear ReadyNas + a 4TB WD red drive costs $250

 

Ready Nas + seagate drive costs $230

 

Also I see that the Netgear ready Nas 102 does not get great ratings

This is a tough decision as I prefer to not spend a whole lot. I would build a custom NAS solution, but that will costs near $400 at the minimum

Perhaps a mobo/cpu combo like asrock c70m1 or an old pc. A friend bought a Celeron 430(775 socket) mobo+RAM for 20€. You can get a cheap case and "only" pay for PSU+hdd.
