Windows Update Stuck

I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my system yesterday, and everything seemed to work fine. Windows updates, however, are not working. When I click check for updates, it just sits on "Checking for Updates" forever. I have already tried Microsoft's update diagnostic tool, and it didn't fix anything.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I HATE Windows Update when I freshly install Windows. It always takes forever. Just give it a LONG time, okay?
