No you don't need to go higher than 650W. Go for the Seasonic 620W PSU. It's cheap and reliable.

I need a new PSU for my r9 390.

I saw these for kinda cheap and they can be here soon (Ireland).

GPU - Sapphire Nitro R9 390

Motherboard - Asus M5A78L-M/USB3

PSU - cx600m

Case - Cougar Spike Micro ATX

Ram - G.Skill 8GBXL

Hardrives - Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB and 500GB SSHD

Change the PSU to an Seasonic 620W or EVGA GS/G2 650W. Your PSU is too weak to handle the system with an R9 390.

yeah it will be fine for that.. think he means seasonic m12ii evo.. i use it
