Boot looping after ram change

So i bought a new kit of rams 2x8 hyper x fury , and put them in my pc.

I entered the bios and set them to 1600 ( altho they can go up to 1866 ) all fine and good. Today i wanted to put 1866 , AND THE BOOT loop started. so i placed the old memory back , and surprise it works, but how do i reset the new memory to 1600 and the DEFAULT latencY if i can t even acces the bios ? I did CMOS already

Intel system or AMD? If AMD you need to set it up manually but XMP settings in intel should see you get 1866 correctly without the boot loop.

Boot with 1 stick in.

Already tried with one stick , 1 stick works only with the old memory

With the old memory, try disabling XMP if it's enabled and resetting the BIOS settings. You should also try different RAM slots with the new memory.

Ok i solved , this was weird tho , so i plugged back the old stick , again boot loop, changed slot , the pc booted finaly again , plugged back the new , again boot loop! Plugged back AGAIN the old stick , overclocked back my CPU to what it was before the cmos clear, placed the new memory back in , everything works fine again , WTF
