Strange fan issue

Using a new build and having a 'woosh' moment..

Inside my case are 4 fans, which wont power on unless I plug in only 1

Any ideas?

how are you powering them? 

individually off the mobo? 

all from one header on the mobo?

which header on the mobo are you using?

are you powering them from the psu directly? 

fan controller correctly installed? or working?

check you havent someone set the power off temps too high.

dont know how to connect the fan header so ive plugged them into separate slots on the motherboard

i havent set any power off temps, and it is hot in my house being australian summer and all

if its a new board it could be the headers are dead, would be strange that they all all, but not impossible. 

ive had dead headers on new boards myself before. 

can you test the fans on a header you know is working to make sure they all spin ok?
