7.1 Surround Sound Emulating Software?

Recently i have been looking to buy a pair of new headphones. I have seen many 7.1 surround headphones but they are very expensive. So, I thought I would buy normal stereo headphones and use a 7.1 surround emulating software. I found that Razer Surround is awesome, but I really can't buy a license for it with my budget. So, please suggest some free 7.1 surround sound emulating software

Those are just gimmicks imo. I have license for that Razer Surround Pro. It's nothing great.

 

Nothing extra ordinary.

 

Get a decent stereo headphone and good sound card or dac. You'd be good to go then.

It was free to download and upgrade to pro last week for users with razor gadgets I would not bother with 7.1 audio I have a 5.1 hifi finally set up and its not that life changing experience from stereo

It is now $20.

Im just getting the HyperX cloud 2's because they already have a sound card built in. but if they didn't offer 7.1 I wouldn't bother spending extra for it. 7.1 isn't that huge of a deal to me but I will use it if it's offered.

 

I wonder if you can pick up the dongle that has the sound card built in (for the hXC2's) for like 20 bucks and then plug cheaper headphones in and use it that way.

 

Also even though they look ridiculous, the G-skills virtual surround headset is pretty cheap.

Razer sucks. Get an Stereo Headset and an Asus Xonar 7.1 Soundcard. They start at 60$

All 7.1 Headsets are Stereo. The Surroundsound is just simulated by the intigrated SC. Do you think they have several Speakers inside? ..Haha  :lol:

And yes, there are headsets with multiple little speakers inside. "Ha ha" yourself.

1.The game must have a menu feature for that(Emulated Surround OR 3D Sound OR Surround)

2.Your Headphone must have multiple drivers

3.Your Sound Card must have capability to Emulate Surround.

 

The Headsets with 10 Speakers can emulate it without it of course. But its not true 7.1 either way.
