Help/info on questionable upgrade

Hello, I am currently looking into upgrading my graphics card but I am wondering if it will really help/increase FPS as much as I am thinking it will. I have a i5 4690k and am wondering if upgrading to a 980ti will be held back by me CPU. I don't know much about computers as you probably could have already guessed by reading this. I guess I am just asking if my CPU will be holding me back. I also game in 1080p if that is needed info. I appreciate any feedback/advice I receive, Thanks :)

No it won't.  What is your PSU and current GPU?
