Hello , I was wondering if I should upgrade some of my components or make a new PC.

Components:

 Processor: i5-2500k

Video Card: GTX 460 SE 1GB
 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-PA65-UD3-B3
 Power Supply: Chieftec 550 W (I don't know the model :D)
 RAM: Kingston 2x4GB 1333 Mhz
HDD : 1 TB WD Blue 7200 RPM

I would also need suggestions for a FULL HD 144 HZ gaming monitor.

The budget would be around 1500$

Thanks and have a great day !

Change your PSU, GPU, and CPU.

i5 6600, 980, EVGA 650W?

if thats the case then why not just build a whole new system because your pretty much listing all the main components minus the mobo, though this system is in need of a complete upgrade in general.

Tsubasa (The 7680x1440 beast): CPU: Intel i7 8086k | Cooler: Fully Custom Rigid Loop MOBO: Asus Z370-I ITX | GPU: Nvidia Titan Xp Star Wars | RAM: 32Gb 2x16gb Gskill Trident Z RGB | SSD: Samsung 1TB 970 Evo Nvme, 2TB Micron Sata SSD | Case: Fractal Design Nano S | PSU: Corsair SF600 With Full custom cables

Hello , I was wondering if I should upgrade some of my components or make a new PC.

So, $1500 US?

If so you'd just want a new full PC, unless you were feeling crazy and wanted a large 4k display

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
