Dirty/Read-Only HDD

So I just bought the WD Black 1 terabyte a week or two ago, and I straight copied my files over from the HDD it is replacing. For some reason, Steam would not download games, with no error message. So I looked it up, and it said that my HDD was Read-Only. So I attempted to change the primary folder (that contains everything on the drive), but it told me that the drive was dirty. So I fixed it using CHKDSK, and then fixed the Read-Only again. Then last week, I had to go through the whole process again. And now I have to do it again (as I type this actually). So, could this be a drive issue? I've never had it on the drive it replaced, and it's using the same SATA port. I'm talking about my Main Rig, and the specs are in my signature. Thanks for any help!

Try to RMA.

Delete the partition and re-install windows....partition table maybe screwed up,

 

Its a very unusual problem for sure.

Well, that's my secondary drive for games and other large files. I've already ordered the advanced RMA.
