Hi guys, a friend of mine in Netherlands has probably smashed his power supply.

Power button-> All fans spin, no post, nothing. Black screen.

Temps on CPU+GPU+RAM+MOBO were all fine.

Dno if pc was on a carpet so power supply got strangled maybe, or just old age.

All parts on stock

CPU: i5-2500

MSI 560 Ti Twin Frozr.

8GB DDR3

1 tb hard drive.

What kind of cheap power supply could we get as replacement?

How much wattage would a system like this need? previous one was 600W he thinks.
