Upgrade my current PC

Getting a new setup from my pretty basic on and was wondering, if these are good things to get. 

 

Current:                                                                    Peripherals:

MOBO: ASROCK Extreme3                                      Headset: Turtle Beach X12s

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1075T                                Mouse: Basic microsoft mouse (no mousepad)

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3870                                      Keyboard: Acer basic keyboard

 

New:                                                                         Peripherals: 

MOBO: SAME  (Upgrading to a better one)              Headset: Logitech G430s

CPU: SAME  (plan on upgrading to I7)                      Mouse: Razer Naga 2012 Expert (Razer Goliathus Extended Control)

GPU: Asus Geforce GTX 760 2gb                            Keyboard: Ducky DK2108S Black Switch

 

Do you think this is a good investment? I plan on upgrading my CPU and MOBO around black friday. Performance wise, is this a good choice? Are these items worth upgrading to?

also do you plan on rendering anything? if not FX 8350 or i5 4670K for CPU or if you wanted to go a little cheaper and still get good performance a 6300.

I cant get one of those because my motherboard doesnt support it.
