Really want to get battlefront but I only a laptop, albeit quite a good one (not optimised for gaming). My friend assures me that it will run on low settings (720p, 30fps) but I'm still skeptical as I don't want to waste £50 on a game that's unplayable. I've seen videos of it being run on computers similar to mine but I need a second opinion. I have an Intel HD Graphics family, Intel i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00 GHz and 8GB RAM.

720p 30 fps would be a bad experience. just build a cheap gaming rig for $500

I don't care about that, i just want a leisurely game with mates, I don't have time nor money to build a PC, the question is would it definately be able to run like that on my laptop.

It Couldn't hurt to try because origin offers a 30 day refund.

If you buy it through origin you can get your money back on some games? But yeah it will struggle not having a discreet graphics card, I'd invest in a gaming rig if you were serious about it

If you have the option to get a high refresh rate monitor, do it.
