Reinstalling Windows 7

Upgrading to Skylake from Haswell. Seems like upgrading without reinstalling isn't really possible due to driver issues (motherboard change). I have two hard drives, C Drive (240gb SSD) and E Drive (1tb HDD). Most of my steam library and other larger files are on the HDD, so if I reinstall windows on my SSD, should I encounter any problems having the new install recognize the E Drive? I'll be installing from my DVD so I'm not worried about not getting it installed, just worried about losing the hundreds of GBs on the HDD.

There shouldn't be any problems. Make sure to unplug the hdd before installing windows 7 on the ssd because windows tends to write some boot files on the hdd. In future if you take out the hdd, you won't be able to boot into the os.
