Flight Joystick - Which one?

I've been thinking of buying a relatively cheap joystick for trying out Elite: Dangerous. What have you guy's experience been with cheap joysticks over more premium ones?

Flight games are not something I've experienced to any reasonable degree, so this is untested waters for me. I don't want to spend stupid amounts on a joystick, and would preferably like to keep it under £30 if possible.
