Hello

I am gatting a Corsair H55 AIO water cooler my Christams from my Grandparents, and I am looking at getting myself a different fan (as the h55 only has a 3 pin with no control). I was looking at some noctua redux but to be honest I really don't know what fans to go for.

Help, thanks :)

try corsair SP120's and you can mount it any where in the case but more likely the back fan mount.

That's what I was thinking, back with fan pushing out as exhaust. Another question, when I plug in the fan for the radiator to the cpu fan header, will it control itself and will it be too fast or too loud since the header is used to the stock cooler?

the motherboard will control the fan speed, although it's better to plug the pump in to the CPU header and the fan in the CPU_OPT header. that is unless your motherboard doesn't have a water pump header.

I hate to be that person,  but, the brown and beige... yuck (also I was thinking a nit cheaper, that's why I looked at the redux range. Also, where should I mount the rad in my define r5?

The redux are way better than the Corsair ones, more silent for sure
