This will be a build for my friend who is selling his laptop for this so I need for this to work first try unless a part fails. The biggest reason I am putting up this post is because I have no idea if a r7 360 would fit in the Source 210, with drive cages when people have used bigger cards apparently. Also better builds would be appreciated for ~500 if there are better ones. GAMING + Web Browsing build

Your build has no balance at all. First, go i3.

Next, just get him a cheaper case.

After that, get him at least an R7 265/370 or 750 Ti/950

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

This a gaming build? Workstation? Web surfing?

Gaming mainly

A 360 is about on par with a 750 ti but it has better fps per watt

Well he probably will have  more money in 1 year, enough to get him an 980 ti and a 6400 probably wouldn't bottleneck, this would

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

You can probably go mid tower ATX and get a 380 instead but at that point the i3 might cut it close in future games.
