Hey guys! So I originally built my PC kind of budget and have started wanting to make it as awesome as I can. Slowly but surely I've been upgrading things as time went on, but I decided with the recent discovery of this forum I'd ask for some advice/thoughts on my choices for some upgrades.

Currently the core parts in my PC are as follows;

CPU: AMD FX 9370 Eight-Core Processor
GPU: MSI GTX 960 2gb
PSU: Corsair CX750m (I am unsure of specifics atm)
RAM: 32gb Corsair Vengeance

As of right now I'm wanting to switch over to Intel for better stability and less heat. These are the parts I'm looking to get for the upgrade;

CPU: Intel i7-5960x Haswell-E Eight Core
MB: ASUS ROG Rampage V Extreme
GPU: MSI GTX 980TI 6gb
Case: Lian Li PC-08WX
Cooling:  Not sure yet, looking for some suggestions. Something like the Raijintek cpu cooler minus all the issues with the reservoir leaking.

I currently have 3 screens and, like a mad man, I want to grab a 4th. Maybe something 4k? Anyways, my idea would be to continue using my 960 for my two side screens (both are 23.5 inch 1920x1080) and the 980ti for the main and 4th screen (current main screen is 32 inch 2650x1440). Any reason that it would be a bad idea? And no, I'm not looking to SLI.

Thanks for reading and I appreciate any feedback.

Well replacing the CPU with a 5820K is a decent idea, the extra PCI-e lanes you get with that chip aren't worth it

but I'd suggest you get a non X Fury over a 980ti as at 4k it performs pretty close, and you'll save money on a free-sync display over a G-sync display

you can also just run all your displays off a single GPU, no reason to run the extra one

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
