Realtek HD audio options

About the audio

I was looking on my MSI z97 on-board audio, when I found some options which I had no clue about, and googling it didn't help

realtek HD audio detects my headphones as speakers and yjery are plugged in the green audio jack in the back panel (green one, I also have red for mic and blue socket which I have no idea what it is)

my headphones aren't surround sound and my cofig is sterio

I want audio best configured for gaming and accurate sound

Settings which I don't understand

Under full-range speakers there is a box saying: front left and right- I read that it is something aabout if you have subwofers, do my headphones have them?

virtual surround option-is it for my headphones

About me

I understand very little about audio, so please try not to use very complicated terms
