gaming monitor upgrade

hi guys i have benq xl2411t and wanna upgrade it because my friend need a good monitor,now i don t know if is better buy pg278q for 600 euro or xb271hu for 750,i know 278 is tn and xb is ips,i know 278 have pixel invertion but i m scared by glow and bleeding,i m fps player for 90% of time but i have read this ips are a little slower(more blurryed image but is quite noticible) and have a little less input lag then are perfect anyways ^^...would u reccomend me?tn or ips lottery? i have gtx 980ti g1 then i can push games at high fps(i m competitive fps player in cs go then is quite op for that games and planning to play single upcoming games with g sync and all maxed out)

If you're a serious competitive CS:GO player, then a 16:9 1080p/1440p 144Hz monitor would be your best bet. The ASUS PG279Q has recently been released with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It does have IPS, but apparently the input lag is so low that you probably won't notice the difference.

I use a relatively cheap 60Hz IPS panel and I don't see any ghosting.

ty for the reply,xb271hu is the acer 165hz ips version ^^is like asus but cost 200 euro less in my country :)...and i have said my brother need my monitor and i think is bad pick take a 1080 tn  monitor 144hz....is better upgrade with better native res

If that's the case, I'd go for the Acer. Read reviews of it and make sure it's not prone to dead pixels, quality control issues and other such similar issues. I believe some users reported dead pixels with the XB270HU, so it's something to look out for.
