strange boot sequence (help please)

hello, i'm wonder if anyone knows exactly whats going on here.

 

i tried overclocking my FX 4300, on a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3, i seem to have a stable O.C. of 4.7@ 1.4625V. however when i cold boot my machine (warm boot is fine) it lights up for a second and the HDD spins up, then goes dark for a few seconds, and comes back to life and re spins up the HDD.

anyone have any idea whats going on here? how to fix it?
