Hey guys, I have a corsair 230T. I love the case except for the fact that, there are holes at the top (I'm assuming for ventilation). I'm afraid that too much dust will get into my parts. Is there a way to stop dust from getting in besides covering the top with books or papers?

You can always get some dust filters like the silverstone filters for it or custom ones from demciflex:

Would putting fans there work to keep the dust out (as an alternative)?

Yes to a degree, it will prevent dust from coming when its on but when it's off dust can still settle, I personally have mesh on my top because i always put stuff on my case and to prevent things from falling in.

use fans for exhaust on the top case holes and they will help but you should get dust filters as they work much better

Can someone recommend me fairly quiet fans that have dust filters on them?

I have not seen fans with dust filter with them before, they are usually a separate item you need to purchase.

As for fans stuff like Noctua, Noiseblockers, EKvardar are good, Corsair QE fans are decent,
