Crossfire problem.

Badphish

Hello,

I've been running 2 xfx R9 280A DoubleDissapation cards in crossfire for quite some time now with zero problems. Recently in a mobo/cpu upgrade I decided to add a 3rd 280 of the same type only because the motherboard supported it, and well... I could.

When running games I notice graphical glitches such as flickering light sources and particle effects with three cards, not with two.

Through some research I've found that all three cards have different bios versions. The two I purchased initially have bios versions much closer together, with the third have a version SEVERAL versions later. (3)

I realize most of the time different bios on different cards in crossfire is not an issue, but could it be in this case? Should I attempt to bios flash the card to the version closest the that of the primary card?

I've tried the cards in all different configurations and the problem persists no matter which card is in which slot.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

That ^

And why didn't you buy a better GPU anyway, rather than CrossFire-ing another card

The card was 129.99$ and was the best option I could see, anyhow... no more loose cash to throw at it now, just hoping to get it working as well as possible.
