I still haven't upgraded my GPU (and PSU), and was wondering, what part of the GPU is used the heaviest for Poly Count in models?

I was thinking that, because when I upgraded from a 64 MB video card to a 1 GB my GTA mods stopped dropping frames. Thank you.
