Hi guys ,

I am really in need of some help here *desperately* .

Every morning after like 8 hours after shutdown, my system would randomly fail to boot/turn on even after spamming the onboard start button .

i had to resit the ram , jump start the psu and spamming the bios reset button together with the onboard start button and leave it alone for aprox. 2 hours before it starts to boot ON ITS OWN .

My system was working fine every night before shutdown .

Is there anyone here having the same issue ?

Thanks in advance =)

System specs

- RE4

- 4930k

- Gtx 770

- sound blast zxr

- Crucial 120 ssd

- WD 1tb black

- Segate 3tb

could be a faulty powersupply have you tried checking it with another powersupply and or changing the power connector to the hd with another one...

Hello Techno-Kitty(like the name btw),

How old is your PSU? It may be about time to get a new one. To test for a bad psu, bend a paperclip into a "U" shape and connect it to the green and black pin (15 and 16). WARNING: MAKE SURE YOUR PSU IS UNPLUGGED AND THE TOGGLE SWITCH IS OFF BEFORE DOING THIS.

Is your PSU cable plugged into a power strip or outlet? If so check to make sure the power strip is not defective (by plugging in a lamp). Also do a visual inspection (on the PSU power cable) to ensure there are no defects (wear and tear, bad contacts, etc.).

I would start there first. Let me know if anything happens. The type it takes is a button cell battery(CR2032). You can find this at most stores.  :)

Roger that mate . I am on my way out to get some , will update this post on the following day.thanks man  ;)
