Hello,

So in Jan or feb i gonna move my build to phase 2 that means new mb cpu ram sdd and PSU , and my question is since i dont have antistatic mat and my furniture is mostly a wood one (deck, table and a shelf which currently is used as computer stand (and a parts container) ) how can i  isolate those ? MB will be msi z170a m3 gaming and before i will put it to the chassy i want to test if its working if cpu is okay etc (ofc when i collect parts like mentioned earlier) but my CPU cooler is dark rock 3 from be quiet. its beffy and i dont know if i wont damage board while instaling it outside of chassy (i have a way to install it once it is in case but well if something goes wrong i will have a much more work to do arent i?)?

CPU i5 6600k 4,4Ghz , COOLER Dark Rock 3 from BQ, RAM 16 GB of ddr 4 2800MHz from corsair,

 PSU EVGA 750 W GOLD G2, MOBO Msi z170A Gaming M3, CASE NZXT H440 Black/Blue,

GPU Geforce GTX 980 Gigabyte G1 Gaming,

STORAGE 1 SSD Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB and 1 HDD 500GB WD, Windows 8.1.

It should easily be able to accommodate it.

Don't be fooled by the bottom line of my sig, that is just for my travels.

So you're telling me that Gaben is no God? Enough of your foolishness.

My hardware you ask? I'm using a Dell Inspiron 3217 Notebook... With an LG 25UM57.

Unless you painted your wood table with some metallic paint, the table is good enough. I work on a granite counter top most of the time.

As mentioned above, I would keep the MOBO on top of the box it came in, cardboard is more forgiving with the solder points on the backside of the board. Everything else can be left on the table.
