Hey, i recently just got a vg248 yesterday and its really straining my eyes, people say its cause of flicker or something. I have a r9 390 card, Can anyone help?

Im not really sure, just spit balling here. It might be because your eyes are not used to the new format of display. I remember when i upgraded my monitor after 4 years of use of the previous one, my eyes would get tired really fast, but then i got used to it.

The higher the refresh rate, the less strain the backlight puts on your eyes. Try running it at 144Hz.
