Witcher 2 loading problems

I bought Witcher 2 on Steam for 5$ today and I got past the prologue and the game won't load the first act. The game ran just fine on what i call ultra settings. Basically once I get on the boat and the cutscene is done the screen goes lack and thats it. No music, no loading screen no anything. I'm pretty new to this game and have no clue what i'm even doing but the screen never goes away and according to taskmanager the application is still responding but CPU usage is pinned at 25%. If you know how to fix this problem I would love to hear it because i really want to play this game but I can't get past the prologue.

EDIT: Also I have other problem ingame like my main menu is black and some of my savegames the screenshots are weird colours not a actual image and the ingame movies don't work.
