xmax computer for my cousin

8gb ram ddr3 1600 crucial ballistix sport

msi h81m-p33

 

im not sure about the cpu. he is upgrading his computer, i dont know what wattage psu he has, but it is over 400. he needs new hdd too he has sata II hdd its slow as fuck. this is his xmax present that he wants

 

all i want is that he gets a balanced computer, i dont know about the cpu, these are the ones he picked, but i just wanted to ask from this community here, ya guys know if that cpu/gpu sucks.

is that pentium processor enough for that gpu?

oh yeah you're right. 4 cores vs 2. i didnt think of that, im so glad i asked help here. hes gonna be playing garys mod(whatever that is lol, i dont know) minecraft and probably he wants to play gta aswell. if you have any predictions what kind of performance you would at least expect from setup like that(with 860k)

Gmod and minecraft - He will run perfectly 

GTA - medium mostley, maybe some settings high 

 

Assuming this is all 1080p. He will be able to play all AAA games, but turn down settings
