So I was charging my phone and picked it up to check some text messages and all of the sudden my screen got significantly darker... And now I can see a ton of dead pixels. When I turn the brightness to the lowest level, the screen is pitch black.  I tried restarting my phone and taking out the battery with no luck fixing it.  Any suggestions on what is causing this?  Thanks in advance.

Broken S3 most likely. A year back my phone wouldn't start up anymore, it wouldn't recharge or anything, turns out the battery broke and discharged everything it had into the phone at once and it broke the main board of the phone, the most expensive part. Gladly they fixed it without any fees ^^

So take it back to where you got it from and tell em to fix it.

My phone's camera is mess up. It doesn't focus correctly so most of the time the picture I take with it are out of focus. BTW I have a S3

NO these aren't dead pixels, they aren't under warranty either. It's just a slight flaw in the manufacturing process with amoled screens. Samsung has since fixed the issue with their new amoled products. I have had 2 s3's and my boyfriend has one also and they have all had this issue. Nothing you can do from what I have gathered from samsung/t-mobile support.

They don't affect the image quality under normal use but when the screen is dark, you can occasionally see them under the right circumstances. Hope this helps :)
