ADZ_123_!"£

My mum is in the market for a new Laptop here are what she wants from it,

A full HD display

£450

Best battery life you can get

ssd or sshdd combonation.

We have looked at the Lenovo Z50 and think that is ideal except for the battery life.

Thanks a lot for your help B)

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

yeah, the battery controller in my lenovo died right after the warranty period.  Don't buy their garbage. Unless it's one of their classic-styled thinkpads.

Ok do you have any reccomendations for a different laptops to get then?

That AMD CPU though. My mom has a relatively fast one in her home / work hp and it is terribly slow, even when compared to her work lenovo with an i5-2XXX MQ. I would definitely go with an i5 / i7-XXXX U processor and ofc 8GB of RAM.

Some that i would consider in that price range are:

i7 128GB SSD 465 pounds: https://www.lambda-tek.com/Lenovo-59405852~sh/B2006446&origin=skinflint30.8

i7 256GB SSD 479 pounds: https://www.lambda-tek.com/Lenovo-59405853~sh/B2627305&origin=skinflint30.8

i5 128GB SSD 455 pounds: https://www.lambda-tek.com/Lenovo-80K6003TGE~sh/B2637347&origin=skinflint30.8

i5 500GB SSHD (8GB SSD cache) 431 pounds (i have had first hand experience with this laptop and it is a really portable and study device): https://www.lambda-tek.com/Lenovo-59424687~sh/B2627398&origin=skinflint30.8
