What am i missing?

So im building my pc at the moment .

 

I put everything together.

Motherboard In case

Power Supply Incase

Connect 24 Pin to Motherboard

Connected cpu power from psu to motherboard

connected the cpu fan to the motherboard

connected the graphics card to the motherboard

put the ram in 

connected all the switches from the case to the motherboard

USB'S WORK

 

so my next move was to plug in the hdmi to the tv form my graphics card and i did that.

then i turned on the computer 

i plugged my usb keyboard from the pc and kept pressing delete

bios will not show up

what am i doing wrong?

 

 

MY specs are

 

AMD 6 Core CPU

Msi 970a Motherboard

Gtx 960 4gb

thermaltake 500w psu

tesserect case

1tb

12gb ram

The button to bring up the bios might very between manufactures

and check switches are the in the right place

its powered on but idk what you mean by switches... what switches/

i was talking about the front case ones but if its powered on thats not it

yeah it will power on but wont power off with the front button lil weird but idk if that has to deal with any of the bios problems.

You need to connect the switches to the motherboard, and what do you mean by the BIOS won't show up? Does the system turn on? If so, you need to give your video card supplemental power.

You need to connect the switches to the motherboard, and what do you mean by the BIOS won't show up? Does the system turn on? If so, you need to give your video card supplemental power.

the system turns on but when i plug in the hdmi to the tv nothing comes up. and my bad im new to this website and ill post in the right one next time.

Is your video card getting enough power? If it requires supplemental connectors, you must connect those.

so right now my graphics card is in the motherboard. and it has a 6 pin connector in it.

Can you pull out your RAM and test a stick in each slot?

i mean it has to be . i plugged in my xbox one to my tv with the same hdmi and it came up
