Just ordered my 970 (hype) and I will be getting a Z97 MOBO and an i5 CPU soon. The problem is that I currently don't have money for a PSU and I wanna know if I could run it with my current one, without OC ofc. My current PSU is an APX-500P12P, dual 12v rail rated at 17A and 18A. If someone could shed some light on that I'd be happy :)

The AXP-500P12P is made by Super Flower (as far as I know), that means it's a good one. If you want to overclock, you might want to upgrade to 600W just to be safe, but you are fine right now.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X            | Cooler: Deepcool AK400  | Motherboard: B550 Elite AX V2  | Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB  |

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB   | GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ti    | Case: NZXT H440 (Red/Black)    | PSU: EVGA 650W G2             |

It's fine, I ran a 5820K + GTX970 off a Corsair RM550 for a while, before retiring that to another build and getting an RM1000. The X99 platform uses a fair bit more power than Haswell or Skylake, so you'll be fine. It'll be a tight fit, but you should be okay.

An overclocked 970 and i5 might hit 250W if you overclocked both things. You're good. That PSU is also good.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
