Psu storage

Tweakforce_LG

Long story short, my pc gpu died just after i replaced the psu, the psu was used for 3 days before the gpu died. So its been off in the pc for about 6 months. Will it be ok to leave stored in the pc till i make a new build mid next year? Its a seasonic m12ii 520w fully modular psu with Japanese caps. So will it be fine sitting in there or would it be better to store it in the box, and if so, why?

Thanks for any advice [emoji14]
