Computer first start not working

Hi guys! I am making my first computer. I plugged everything to my power supply make sure everything was right and when I started to start the computer supply it did for a second and now nothing. I just can test the PSU fan and their is a red light next to the 24 pin on my motherboard. It is an MSI M5

 

The PSU is a Corsair HX850i

Motherboard MSI M5 A170Z

i7 6700K

H105 Corsair

are all the electrical plugs firmly seated and is all hardware firmly seated? () didn't forget to plug the 4/8pin in up by the processor?

do a cmos reset for now and give it a go. i'll get back to this in 10 or 12 hours.

Ok so I went to the store this morning and replaced the motherboard and the psu. It works great now. Not sure what happened yesterday
