I plan on upgrading my prebuilt pc, and it has Windows 10. Is it possible for me to transfer the software to my upgrade doc because I don't want to spend money

If you upgrade everything but the MOBO you probably wont have to do anything. If you upgrade the MOBO/CPU you can usually call Microsoft and explain to them your issue and they can sometimes fix it so you can use that same key.

I do NOT know if they will do this for you, im just saying as a suggestion.
