Hey everyone!

I'm new to the pc building game and I have a question. I know flashing a motherboard generally means the UEFI will update, but does that mean that it will update all the other drivers as well or will I have to do this separately? Is flashing also required to begin overclocking?

Current build:

Asrock z97 extreme6

Intel 4790k

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16gb

EVGA 970SSC

1tb samsung 850 evo

2tb seagate barracuda

Corsair AX760

NZXT 440

(3x) Noctua NF-F12 Linus Edition

Drivers do not run in the UEFI/BIOS. They run when the Operating System is running - updating the UEFI does not touch drivers, but may improve compatibility/stability and add support for new products. Updating is not usually required to overclock the CPU.
