N300 USB adapter problem

hey guys i know this adapter is kind of old but i have been having problems with it losing conection lately and have recently figured out the problem apparently there seems to be a design flaw in which the adapter overheats and drops connection so i put a small floor fan beside it seems to be working fine know just posting this incase anyone else has the same problem  ;)
