Crappy Coolers for AMD, bad VRMs (cheap ones usually) LOTS of Coil whine, cheap plastic all over the place, heatpipes that don't make contact and the WORST customer support out of all the tech companies

Oh okay, yeah makes sense. I don't have any experience with Asus or Gigabyte hardware but I was considering a Gigabyte motherboard for my next build

Asus and Gigabyte are great with motherboards and nvidia GPUs but don't buy them for AMD GPUs

I wouldn't buy an AMD GPU anyway... lol

The some of the software I run doesn't support AMD graphics

ASRock, Asus, and MSI are the only MBD's that have deserved my trust.

AsRock? really?

From my experience AsRock has been pretty dodgy (1 of my south bridge chips is half working, and other problems with not turning on etc)

Other people have had similar problems on forums.

And my old Gigabyte Mobo (x58) and my current GPUs (Gigabyte gtx670) are solid and I've never had a problem with them.

Unless.... things have changed heaps since then....

I've honestly never have had an issue with ASRock. Never have, and I won't say never will or I'll jinx myself. :)

Not to mention their customer service is great.
