These are my brothers headphones but he went to uni and left them here. Wil they be any good for gaming for something like battlefield 3 and maybe 4.

I own them and I have to say that they're fine for both gaming and music but they lack the punch that my sister's Sony MDX-100 has. Everything is a bit too flat even with the EQ set to Bass boost.

 

And they're very comfortable to wear for long periods of time as they're light and have good soft padding on the top

I used to use a pair of 201s and if you've got nothing better then they're not too bad. I found that they could get a bit uncomfortable after long gaming/music sessions as the ear cup is quite shallow (but I do have big ears so maybe it's just me ;) ). The audio quality is fine (better than most earbuds of the same price) but I find that it distorts quite a bit in base heavy scenes/songs.
