Asus ROG Laptop?

Okay I am planning to buy the Asus rog gl551hw. When I was reading the reviews on it most people where happy with it. There are some negative reviews though about technical issues. So is it worth buying?

I would be using it for gaming and some school work.

Meanwhile i switched back to desktop and if i really need a Laptop, I just borrow my mothers one.

This is the model I am buying. I plan to buy it on black Friday. Hoping for a cheaper price.
