Looking for new laptop

My current laptop is broken so I need to buy a new one, but can't decide what I should buy. I'm looking to spend $500 or less, hoping to find a good deal with black Friday coming up. I would be using it mainly for school, but would also like to be able to play games and do video editing on occasion.

For gaming nothing too intensive since I have a good desktop for those games, probably just games like Hearthstone, maybe Rocket League, and various simulator or strategy games. For video editing the software I use is Cyberlink PowerDirector
