H100i screws

Hello, I am trying to install my H100i to my case (corsair air 540); my question is, do the screws have to go all the way in? Because if I try to do that they will hit the radiator fins, right? If I put the screws so that they don´t touch the radiator all the things are loose and I don´t know if that is correct and the videos I´ve checked say nothing about it.

It's not ideal but my fins are all messed up under my fan screws. just get it snug don't crank it down.

which screws are you using? from the H100i or the AIR540?

if using the fans above rad (pull) the H100i screws will work just fine (6-32x 1.25")

if using the fans in push (under radiator) youll need the short screws from the H100i

kit, and the normal H100i fan screws from just the fan.. there are washers also

included on some of the cases the mount hole was grommeted. remove grommet

and use washer.
