I'm looking at getting one of these backplates for my Msi Hd7850 twin frozr iii edition card.

http://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc7850-backplate-black.html

It says the card is compatible, however the backplate is designed to fit with a waterblock, so my question is, will it still fit if I leave the stock cooler rather than a water block or not?

If not does anyone know where I can get a backplate for a similar price that will fit with the stock cooler.

According to your link the backplate is only for reference coolers (and waterblock). The MSI TF is not a reference cooler (usually one fan only for cooling solution). The link below is the only thing I can dig up at the moment....good hunting.
