Hi guys,

I'm currently trying to push my gtx 970 a little further but the core clock that I set on afterburner doesn't seem to apply.

At stock, I run at 1291Mhz, I apply an offset of +150Mhz but the core clock is maxed out at 1340ish Mhz.

I don't understand why it doesn't apply the core clock because earlier today, I reached 1500Mhz (but wasn't stable :/ )

Can you help me?

Is the card thermal throttling?

Is the card thermal throttling?

I don't think so, I've played on it for 2 month with an overclock of 1400Mhz

Have you set the power limit?

Yes, I set it to 110%, prioritising the temperature (91°C, that's the max)

Also, I retried with an offset of +200Mhz, and it apply the core clock, but is unstable :/

EDIT : stable during 3 runs of MetroLLBenchmark maxed out @1080p with +180Mhz
