fast forward i get a fast internet but i get this error on the update after i turned it back on, before i moved to a new place i already had my update working a downloading fine

Code 80070002

i tried literally everything

windows6.1 kb947821

windows update agent 7.6

windows update diagnostic but it couldn't fix the issue and when it said it did still the same proble happened

i have no virus

i made sure no temp files are on my pc

made sure all registry are ok

made sure all windows update services are working

as i said literally everything

all i need now is someone to tell me what to do i need to update my pc A.S.A.P. i have work to do and that work needs and updated pc

i even tried to download the updates manually and install them but no luck

i'm running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit SP1

no new softwares were installed on the pc

and i made sure its not the internet coz i took the pc to try it on a friends internet at his home

i even did a disk checkup to make sure everything is ok

i even tried windows resource protection but it couldn't perform the requested operation

What you may like thinking about is keeping your environment as thin and as stateless as possible. This way when something happens and it will happen you may simply scrub it and be back to operation capability within only a couple of hours. In other words all of your data and software is centralized on a server/NAS and the environment you work in is effectively a throwaway instance.

Also for tasks requiring non native performance such as web browsing, word processing and so on simply fire up a virtual machine. Eventually you may delegate this to a hpyervisor if you can afford the hardware.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.
