AMD graphic card

Go to solution Solved by QueenDemetria,

Why AMD Radeon mid-range and high-end graphic card required more power supply compare with Nvidia Geforce 900 series? I am very about it.

Architecture, nVidia cards are designed more efficiently, although most of this is caused from AMD using older architechures(because Fiji has proven to being power efficient with the Nano). AMD had features in mind with GCN.

Because Maxwell is cut-down and a lot of professional-grade features such as Double Precision and compute power have been removed from the 900 series. 700 series use the same amount of power as their AMD counterparts
