Hello smarter people,

I recently (an hour ago) bought two 120 patriot blaze SSDs. after they were installed i booted up the pc, logged into windows and they weren't showing up. so i go into the bios, and here's the strange thing, it only shows one of the patriot blazes' witch doesn't have windows on it although it boots to windows.

Specs:

Mobo    Gigabyte X99-gaming G1 wifi

CPU      I7-5820k

GPU      MSI-760 hawk

RAM     16gb ddr4 patriot

Storage 2x patriot blaze SSDs + 1 random 1tb hdd

Sorry, that wasnt clear. I mean are you sure that its really not showing up? If it has the operating system on it, it would just show up as the C drive, not an extra one.

in windows, there are supposed to be three drives showing up but only the HDD (the windows drive) is showing up

in the BIOS, there is supposed to be three drives showing up but only one of the patriot blazes' is showing up

why? im happy with my windoes

Because you will have Ubuntu... Honestly windows 8 sounds like the more serious of the two problems in this build anyway. :P Lol, sorry. I tried, not really sure why else it wouldn't be showing up unless you didn't plug it in right. Could try checking the cable is fully plugged in again I guess.

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

i have windows 10 and even if i did change to Ubuntu that wouldn't fix my bios issue.

Priorities man! Bios issue, or windows 10? One of these problems is more concerning than the other and it's not the hard drive.
