Good backup software?

Bazingaman18

Does anyone know of any good backup software that is not windows backup and not a physical server? I just need something that will back up my hard drive and not have to copy the C drive to a hard drive, I want software to do that on a scheduled time.

i just made a batch using robocopy to copy files to a NAS. works fine although it messed up some time stamps for some reason.

I have been using the free version of Crash Plan since I heard Linus mention it. As far as I can tell, the only downside to the free trial is that it doesn't allow backing up to their server, which you said you don't want anyway; it isn't time limited or anything like that.

It will do it when you schedule it, if your HDD is plugged in.

It will backup what is new so as not to take up loads of space.
