So ive been researching in a bit more detail about the 80 plus rating, and i just want to know if this is true

 

80 is the standard efficiency, if you have a PSU with "80 PLUS PSU" rating you have a PSU with 80%

But when you add a metal to the end of the name, such as "Bronze", "silver", "platinum", etc you just add 80 + the value of the metal

 

so for example

 

80 plus gold PSU efficiency would be 80 + 10 = 90%

And

80 plus bronze PSU efficiency would be 80 + 5 = 85%

 

Please correct me if im wrong

no im not spying on you... i was saying that the two sources dont collide.. the efficiency tables match...
