hi i bought some RAM the other day on trade me (a new zealand version of ebay or amozon) for an upgrade to my currently working system but after i installed it my computer wouldnt post so i told the guy it wasnt working and he told me that it was server ram and i needed desktop ram can anyone tell me if there are actually 2 different things and what the difference is in terms of compatability

p.s. i have an asrock FM2A68M-HD+ motherboard and an A4-7300 APU

If it's ECC memory (error code correcting IIRC) it might not work
